Pigs Talk and Chickens Listen

One important element of Scrum is the people involved gets to take the decision.

The story goes that the pig and the chicken got together to give a feast to the farmer. And it was suggested to give Ham and Egg. On deciding whether to go ahead to do this or not, its the pig that has the say since he's "committed" and the chicken has no or little say since he's "involved".

So comes, only pigs have the say.

It follows, that its the project team that actually does the work has a say during the project team discussions on committing work. Not the chicken, like the management, who are only involved.

CAS and Scrum

This is the main reason for me to start this blog. Software development is faced with the challange of being adoptive and agile. they were the very ealiest to go in to flat structures in organisations.

now, you have Scrum - a heavily practiced and highly popular development process, which has similar thinking to what the good people in CAS are doing.

so lets share that.
